Remembrance Day

It was a brisk but sunny day November 11 at 11:00 am 2016.  We gathered as we always do at the Richmond Hill cenotaph on Yonge St. for the Legion’s remembrance ceremony. Such a beautiful service. This year our Legion President and his wife are retiring and moving out of Town. Julian and Mary, my friends for many years, you will truly be missed.

It was lovely to see so many people dressed to create “an atmosphere of sparkle and glamour by dressing in cream or white clothing.” Everyone looked quite fresh and summery. That is so much nicer than being asked to wear “business attire”!.
